Jim Anthony

Jim Anthony is President and Global Head, Parexel Biotech. In this role he leads the fully dedicated, cross-departmental division responsible for serving Parexel’s small, emerging and mid-sized Biotech customers. As part of this role, he directly manages the global project leadership and sales functions for this division.

Prior to leading Parexel Biotech, Jim was an Enterprise Account Lead for two of the largest customer accounts at Parexel, delivering successes in growth and change management with one partnership being renewed for a second, five-year term and the second partnership being built and launched from the ground up. He joined Parexel in 2010 as Vice President, North America Business Development and was later promoted to Corporate Vice President in 2013.

Jim has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical and CRO experience, including positions with Kendle International (now Syneos Health) and SCIREX Corporation (now Premier Research) from 2001 to 2003. In 2022, he was recognized as a PharmaVoice 100 award recipient, a prestigious accolade that recognizes the 100 most-inspiring individuals in the life sciences sector.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
