Aurelia Bordes

Aurélia Bordes is Corporate Vice-President and Global Head of Safety Operations for Parexel. In this role, she is responsible for providing a streamlined and comprehensive approach to delivering on the increasing needs of our customers for pharmacovigilance (PV) services across the drug development and commercialization process, working to safeguard patient safety while optimizing the evolving benefit/risk of managing our customers’ assets. Aurélia oversees Parexel’s Safety Services Operations team, developing and implementing the strategic and operational plan in support of our safety goals, integrating across safety operating models and countries. She is also in charge of process and technology improvements to ensure Parexel Global Safety Services organization have a controlled and predictable Safety Services experience for our customers. 

Aurélia brings to the role more than 17 years of experience in safety and pharmacovigilance, including holding roles of increasing responsibility in the CRO industry, where she provided strategic leadership for a wide range of projects and customers, ranging from Phase I trials to post-authorization safety studies through to post-marketing surveillance.  

Aurélia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Health.
