Daniela Martinez

Daniela Martinez is the Associate Director and Global Head for Global Trade Compliance (GTC), leading a team of 24 employees who deliver global trade compliance support for clinical trials across APAC, Americas, EU and EMEA's regions to bring supplies and drugs to patients worldwide.

Work Experience

Daniela has been with Parexel for over 12 years. Her extensive import and Export experience allow her to cover several roles like acting as Functional leader, develop import/export logistics strategies and risk management plans, as well as Providing Consultancy to ensure international shipments compliance.

Before starting her Parexel career, Daniela worked as an International Commerce Executive for Mexican Customs Authorities at the “Servicio de Administración Tributaria” (SAT) participating actively at customs houses, managing passengers, documents and shipments clearance, developing risk management analysis, inspections, Gamma’s and X Rays testing and also customs legal assessment.

Education

Daniela holds a Bachelor Degree in International Business by Universidad del Valle de México (UVM) and a Master’s degree in International business and Foreign Trade by Universidad de las Americas (UDLA) at Mexico City, along with several diplomas and specializations related to International Foreign Trade and Customs.
