Mutsukuni Kataoka is a seasoned clinical development executive with over 32 years of combined experience in pharmaceutical industry. His career spans 20 years in clinical development roles within pharmaceutical companies in Japan, complemented by 12 years in CRO clinical operations.
His comprehensive experience covers the entire clinical development process, from strategy planning and protocol writing to study conduct, site management, reporting, and regulatory interactions with PMDA. Throughout his career, Kataoka-san has held key leadership positions including Head of Clinical Operations, Clinical Project Management, and Clinical Development.
Kataoka-san holds both M.S. and B.S. degrees in Agriculture Zoology from Kobe University, bringing a strong scientific background to his executive role in clinical operations.
