Richard Cain

Richard Cain is Senior Vice President, Strategic Operations at Parexel. Richard joined Parexel in 2023 to focus on driving growth and achieving full benefits from the core systems and processes that support delivery of the company’s solutions. His responsibilities encompass simplification for users and greater adoption of best practices, drawing upon his extensive expertise in global system implementation.

With decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Richard has a strong financial background with emphasis on process enhancements and margin expansion. His career includes global and regional roles with CROs including IQVIA and Syneos Health, supporting initiatives in Clinical, Early Phase, Real World Evidence, Sales and Corporate Finance.

As a Chartered Management Accountant, Richard holds honors degrees in Accounting and Finance from Manchester (UK) Metropolitan University.
