Shigehiro Miki （三木 茂裕 - ﾐｷ ｼｹﾞﾋﾛ）

Shigehiro Miki is Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Parexel Japan and oversees whole operations at Parexel Japan to achieve all growth and profitability targets set for these businesses in Japan.

Joined Parexel in 2003, Mr. Miki had worked primarily in the sales organization at Parexel for more than 15 years. After serving in key positions such as Senior Director, Vice President of Business Development, his strong performance in the sales field and his excellent management skills led to his appointment as General Manager in June 2020.

Prior to joining Parexel, Mr. Miki had worked in various industries. His unique career gives him a broad outlook on the management as well as strong entrepreneurship.

He firstly worked at Tokai Bank (current MUFG) as the sales representative from 1991 to 1993, Then, after obtaining his MBA degree at Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management in the US, he joined Baxter Limited in 1997 and worked in the marketing department for 3 years. He also was involved in launching IT venture company, Tower Corporation from 2000 to 2001.

Concurrently with his assuming General Manager at Parexel in June 2020, he also became a member of Japan CRO Association’s (JCROA) board of directors and fulfilled his duties by May 2023. In June 2021, he was appointed to the DIA Advisory Council Japan (ACJ) member. The advisory Council of Japan determines the Association's policy for activities in Japan and provides strategic input/advice to the Board of Directors at the Association's headquarters in the United States.

Through the abovementioned track record, he has very extended network within both pharmaceutical industry and CRO industry in Japan.
