Amy Kissam-Sands is Executive Vice President, Operational Excellence, Delivery and Innovation for Parexel. In this role she leads the company's efforts to drive innovation and transformation across the clinical development process.

Amy joined Parexel in 2019 to oversee our strategic operational innovation initiatives, including eTMF, Clinical Vault and Parexel’s RBQM strategy. With more than 25 years of experience across all facets of the clinical development process ─ from clinical operations and quality, customer alliances and process implementation leveraging best-in-class clinical technologies ─ she brings a holistic and strategic view of clinical development to more effectively leverage the application of data, analytics and technology to advance therapies for patients. 

Amy is currently leading the transformation of Parexel’s operations, including the creation of our Parexel Precision Pathway strategic operating model as well as the application of AI and best-in-class technology solutions across this model to innovate delivery and accelerate drug development for customers. 

Prior to Parexel, Amy served as Executive Director, Clinical Innovation and Global Operations Management for INC Research (now Syneos Health) where she led enterprise-level implementation for innovation initiatives and new technologies. She previously worked at Quintiles (now IQVIA) in a diverse range of roles of increasing responsibility involving Strategic Customer Alliances, clinical process optimization, new system development, clinical quality management and several clinical operations oversight roles.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University. She has a passion for philanthropy and non-profit work, including military service, mental health and collective impact initiatives. Amy serves on several boards including the Upstate Warrior Solution, Mission 85 and the University of Georgia Fontaine Center Advisory Board. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
