Melanie Smith

Melanie Smith is a Senior Group Account Director. She is an experienced client partner with expertise in medical affairs strategy, training, publications for products in all stages of the product life cycle, and innovative internal communication campaigns. She has an extensive background in overseeing large account teams to ensure client satisfaction through proactive project execution. 

Work Experience
Melanie has been with Parexel for more than 25 years. Her extensive experience includes leading medical education programs across all stages of the product life cycle, including the development and leadership of cross-portfolio strategic planning workshops and patient profiling and development of key communication points. She is skilled at building enduring, strategic partnerships with clients and has a demonstrated ability to develop organic franchise accounts. Melanie has broad therapy area experience, including rare diseases (hematology, IPF), respiratory, cardiology/metabolic, anti-infectives, and CNS.

Melanie’s education consists of 12 O levels and 3 A levels. She is based in Parexel’s office in Worthing, UK.
