Rohan J. Vilms, M.D., MPH
Medical Director
Rohan joined Parexel International in 2020 as a Pediatrician-scientist with expertise in infectious diseases, public health and health services research, including a focus on vaccines and biologics for viral infections.
Rohan's prior experience includes clinical research for two years in Neonatology at Stanford University, including multiple studies related to management or outcomes of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and an early phase device trial Academic and non-profit sector research experience also includes cluster-randomized implementation research in maternal-child health and multiple epidemiologic studies of child health using large observational datasets
Education
Rohan is board-certified in Pediatrics and completed residency training at Duke University, where he spent a year in Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship before transitioning to industry. He also has a medical degree from the University of California in San Diego and an M.P.H. in Quantitative Methods (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
